MBS Mountainboards 1998 catalog

The pioneer of mountainboarding, Jason Lee, founded MBS Mountainboards. After coming up with the concept in a coworker design-off, my concept was chosen and I became the lead designer for the first MBS Mountainboards catalog. The theme was “Meltdown” and a reoccurring tag line running throughout the catalog was “Snow Melts” which reinforced their main selling point: the all-terrain board that can be ridden all year. The 16-page catalog featured boards, wheels, parts, accessories and clothing. Later catalogs featured more technological advances with the boards and less emphasis on clothing and accessories. My involvement on this project included concept, lead design, co-art direction of photo shoots, digital illustration, production and print management.
